lego millenium falcon
![]() notes: While building the Millennium Falcon, I limited my entertainment to the original Star Wars trilogy (and one football game). [4 views] New Hope: 2hrs. 1min - (total 8hrs. 1min) [3 views] Empire Strikes Back: 2hrs. 4min (total 6hrs. 12min) [3 views] Return of the Jedi: 2hrs. 14min (total 6hrs. 42min) [1 view] Football game: 2hrs. (total 2hrs) Grand Total: 22hrs 55min (1,375 minutes build time) Han Solo said "It's the ship that made the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs." We know a parsec was a measurement of distance equal to approximately 3.26 light years. So, 11.5 parsecs * 3.26 light years = 37.49 light years = 328412.4 light hours Which means 14,278.8 Lego Millennium Falcons built per Kessel Run (with Han Solo at the wheel) The set contains 5,195 pieces at $499.99 which equates to roughly ~$0.10 a piece At my speed, I was handling 3.79 pieces a minute (or $0.37 a minute). Instruction Manual: 311 pages (16.7 pieces per page at $1.60 a page) which means I was averaging 4min 28sec per page.
